Nathan Sambar is a Glassworker and Industrial Designer. He has a background in design, with glass blowing and forming skills passed down from his father and sharpened. He spent earlier years training, working production in factory settings as well as privately with artists and gaffing teams, and continues to explore through residencies and collaboration.

Today, Nathan is the owner of Innate Studio & Monterey GlassWorks INC, in California. However, currently residing in Seattle again, he is also an industrial designer at local design and architecture firm, Greyscale Design Studio & Pentograph, while moving shop up here to the PNW. Nate is a longtime and passionate student, instructor, and community member, with an interest in historic glass and modern design, lighting, and other functional, artistic solutions that drive his work - never sacrificing quality. Find him teaching at Pilchuck Glass School summer 2026.
